All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I had a sudden love affair with Cornishware, the blue-and-white china produced by TG Green in Derbyshire, England. The pieces can be hard to find and can get quite pricey, so I had resigned myself to trying to collect it over time at antique stores. That could work, certainly, but imagine how much more excited I was to spot
new Cornishware on
Oh Joy!.
It turns out
Dean and Deluca is selling the classic dishware again, and at fairly reasonable prices. I won't be buying any just yet...I gotta see how that registry of mine turns out ... but I'm pretty tempted to scoop up the butter dish and/or the cups and saucers.
