I keep changing my mind about centerpieces, but I think this could be a really cute way to tie into my newspaper theme (or take it too far): wrap potted plants with newspaper, tied off with raffia or ribbon. Simple and chic — looks like they were picked up at the farmers' market.

ReplyDeleteP.S. I found some cupcake decorating tricks online the other night. I'll have to see if I can pull any of them off and then see if you want any of those that I can, in fact, pull off. :)
perhaps a red flower with kate's suggested blue ribbon, or vice versa, forget-me-nots with red ribbon
